Chances are you’re on this site because you’re frustrated with your golf game and are searching to find the golf swing basics. Like me, you’ve probably read a million golf tips and even sprung for some golf lessons but still hit the ball inconsistently.
Oh sure, you occasionally hit the ball on the screws but not often enough. It would never happen for me especially on the first tee with everyone watching. The fact is that hitting a golf ball consistently and accurately is one of the most challenging skills there is to master. And learning the proper golf swing mechanics is where you need to start.

I started playing golf around ten years ago, hacking around with friends at local courses. Back then I never took golf lessons or went to the driving range. I just went out on the course and winged it. I was only out to have fun with friends. But as you know, there’s nothing fun about playing golf when you don’t know how to swing a golf club correctly.
After about five years of pretending to actually play golf, I decided to make an effort to improve my game. I had to do something to get better because being frustrated for 5 hours on a golf course was getting old. I thought about quitting but all my friends play and frankly it’s just good for my business knowing how.
I first tried to learn the golf swing basics on my own just by practicing. I started going to the driving range hoping to develop my own natural golf swing. Wrong! It took a while, but I finally realized that there’s nothing at all “natural” about the golf swing.
As a fitness trainer, I should’ve figured it out sooner – the golf swing is like any other complicated movement: you first need to learn the proper form or you’ll never get it right. This is when I actually broke down and spent money on golf lessons. I should’ve done this sooner.
My game started inproving and I was having fun. I was hitting the ball better, now that I finally learned the mechanics of a proper golf swing. I spent the next few years playing fairly consistently. But then it happened – the hooks, the slices – they were back with a vengeance! Somewhere along the line I lost my golf swing basics. Does this sound familiar?
I went back for some more golf swing lessons and started spending more time at the driving range – nothing was helping. Now I’m really considering quitting! But one day at the driving range, I noticed the guy next to me continuously hitting long and straight drives.
Desperate for help, I asked him if he could give me a few golf swing tips. After watching me swing a few times, he quickly pointed out that I was moving too much during my swing, causing me to strike the ball poorly. I asked if he had any suggestions and that’s when he told me about a program he discovered called The Simple Golf Swing.
He explained that the program teaches a more controlled golf swing that would keep me in the correct golf swing plane, giving me consistency and power on each shot. He said it quickly turned his game around, taking 6 strokes off his handicap in less than two months. I couldn’t get home quick enough to check it out.
Well, I did check it out and now I’m playing my best golf ever. Thanks to my new golf swing, I now hit the ball where I want it to go. I’m back playing decent golf and having fun again. I know my golf game could be much better if I practiced my short game more but that’s another story.
The Simple Golf Swing guide teaches you the golf swing basics in an easy-to-learn, step-by-step method. It truely is a “simple golf swing” because all the unnecessary movements of a traditional golf swing are removed – the same movements that were fouling my swing up.
Do yourself a favor and check out The Simple Golf Swing. For half the price of one golf lesson, it’s a no-brainer. There’s no easier way to improve your golf swing.
Hi - Paul Francis here. No, I'm not a golf pro - I'm a fitness trainer. As for my golf game, it was going downhill until I discovered a program that quickly helped turn it around. Within a few short weeks of learning the techniques, I'm consistently hitting the ball straighter and further.
I don't expect to be joining the PGA tour anytime soon, but at least now I can accept an invitation to play golf knowing I'll have fun and play respectably.
I built this site to help others like you, who may be frustrated trying to improve their golf game.
